Dialga and the new Sinnoh evolutions don't have ratings, guides have been seldom coming out, what's going on?
It's been an ongoing thing for a while now. PvP heavy hitters that have been that way since it launched like giratina haven't had anything noted in their pages for example
Personally, I feel its there just too much that's come out (new raid guides happening and updated every other week lately, new events and research tasks, the move pool expansions, and CD articles, plus others) and needed to be done, as well as going back to most pokemon's pages and editing them is a large endeavor.
I’m guessing from the constant ads for writers they don’t have much staff ... Judging by the recent articles the little staff the do have aren’t good writers or even play... Its a shame because Game press was the place to go for in depth analysis and insights that couldn’t be found anywhere else ... Now they are reduced to opinion piece and lifting articles from other places
Probably just overload at this point. What some other games on gamepress have that PoGo doesnt is different region releases. take FGO for example. They have the JP version and the NA version. NA can just rip information from the JP guides and go from there.
Niantic seems to try to keep things fresh so with raids changing every month, new raids being added in and therefore new guides needing to be made AND the fact people might want PvP guides/teir lists theres just too much to be working on if they dont have the writers/players
I'm a writer myself. I've recently been busy with GoBattleSim code refactoring (it's 90% done now). Once that's done I'll start contributing on the issues you bring.
Also please understand that I, as well as every PoGo staff, am dedicated PoGo player. And we have real life duties. Everyone is contributing in their free time. It takes quite some time to craft a good piece.
Rest it assure that I'll work on my best to keep as many things updated as possible.
