Why is jolteon there, but not zapdos?

This was posted in my discord, and my first question was why was zapdos off to the side, but jolteon was included?

Even against blizzard sets, Zapdos outperforms jolteon both in DPS and TDO, the TDO is slight, only one or two points, but none the less is more TDO.

Everything else, makes sense, Raikou's hig dps and bulk, electivire's high DPS with out the RC. If only raikou were there and it was just jolteon and luxray that's make sense on a budget, but mewtwo's there as well, which isnt the most budget friendly pokemon to power up or give a second move to

Probably this reason.

That would make sense, but as the rest of it all give information thats pretty much spot on for what to use and gives good information for coutners depending on movesets, the joke could go over a lot of people heads.

That I get, but even against blizzard it outperforms jolteon. More DPS (the most important measure in the game) and slightly more TDO

The others don't take SE damage from Blizzard. It has nothing to do about who outperforms who and is purely about who takes super effective ice damage and who doesn't.

That's the joke. The joke is now dead because I had to explain it so meticulously.

Ok. thank you for the explaination. It just seemed odd as I remember the cresselia guide where gengar or others were taking super effective damage and still were placed there. I just seemed a bit odd to me.

The investment in Zapdos is vastly more expensive than Jolteon, especially as we had a whole month of Mewtwo.

I'll be using predominantly grass against both.

Also, the flowchart recommends "zapping it" when Kyogre is firing off Blizzard as general advice, but obviously Zapdos doesn't quite fit that recommendation since its flying-type gives it a weakness to ice. It literally says, "I don't like Blizzard."

Come on man... this chart is gold: great info in an easy-to-read format, illustrated hilariously. Don't overanalyze it.

I said the info was good, im just questioning why is jolteon there, even v blizzard, zapdos still out preforms it in both DPS and TDO

I agree its funny, but its one little oddity that didnt quite make sense. That and it also leaves zapdos out of the non-sunny non-blizzard possibility.
