Which Bagon to evolve and take to max?

Bagon just came out like yesterday. Should probably hold your horses for a moment and see if you can get a better one and/or some more candy before you invest all that dust and RC.

So I guess you just want to get it as a trophy since Salamence is not good enough to spend rare candy on. Personally I'd go with the 96% if you intend to max it. But I really wouldn't if you aren't absolutely drowning in rare candy.

None if you need to spend that many rare candy, they're not that much better than Dragonite and I got plenty of those at 40. Even if I had the Bagon candy and leftover dust I would still wait until I had a better one than those you have.

It's pretty much strictly worse than Dragonite according to sims. Waiting for the eventual Funkysho comparison video that'll show which one is actually better.

If it were me, I'd evolve the level 27 immediately and not invest yet. You can still flex it in gyms and raids and it'll be a decent cp already. Then I'd wait a week on the other 2. After the event, fire away with the 96% ava take it to the max.

Gun to my head today, if I had to max one right now? I'd do the 96% and try not to regret it lol.
