Whats with the gyms?

There seem to be a lot of weird bugs lately. I've reinstalled the game maybe 5 times in the last two weeks, but it just keeps the problems at bay, doesn't solve them. I suspect a memory leak, or something similar.

Sometimes my buddy pic disappears. Sometimes the weather disappears. Everything else works normally. And sometimes all gyms, stops, and external pokemon disappear, but I can still use potions, send gifts, etc. Weird.

The only gym I can see from my home was shut down 10 days ago. I can still see it though, when I click on it, network error and I have to close the app and restart the game. Fittingly I never liked that gym and a Sneasel was the last Pokémon left to trickily defend the ghost gym.

I've seen this too. Most of the gyms I've seen this on have been held for 3+ hours and the Pokémon are a near full motivation, leading me to believe that they had just been topped up with Golden Razz's.

Which leads to another thing that I've noticed - Motiviation seems to be dropping REALLY fast for CP2700+ Defenders. I'm used to seeing Blissey's being a half motivation around 5 hours, but now it seems to be dropping even faster, so around 3.5 hours the Blissey is almost out of Motivation.
