Weather Boost

So we're getting forecasts that its going to (likely) be windy on Beldum day. aside from the 5 levels higher, and 25% stardust bonus, what else does the boost do for encoutners on community days? I heard that when pokemon are weather boosted they have better IV's? IF so, is there any sort of iv floor on boosted mon?

Only got 4 good beldum (91-89%, 14 atk at highest) and 701 candy, hoping to get some good ones. Most of my CD's were boosted and I got lucky with them and the IV's, hoping that continues here.

In my experience there's no floor difference with/without weather boost. But with weather boost, there's a higher chance to meet a high iv mon, which seems to be true for CD as well. I only find 3-4 iv > 80 larvitar without boosts but tens of chikarita with boosts.

Weather boost = 4/4/4 floor

Weather boosted have minimal floor 4/4/4 if i remeber correct. Also being higher lvl mean harder to catch.

Lucky you, i seen more snow than Windy in this game. Only nonexistent fog is rarer. I havent boosted Mareeps, Squirtles, Chikoritas and Charmanders. Useless Partly Cloudy almost all time.

We live in a valley here, tend to get wind at certain points of the year (mostly when its cold)

My past CS bosted catches were my 96% dratini (first wild pokemon I got over 60% IV's) 98% boosted Bulba, current frenzyplant destroyer, A few good charmander (but because we had a Charmander nest at my park I go to the week of the event, I dont know which was from the event and not offhand) and the absolute beast, my level 34, 96% Larvitar, partly cloudy that day, didnt even need to level it up for the birds.

We get fog semiregularly, stays until around 11 am sometimes, very helpful for mewtwo take downs

Apart from what's already been said I would add increased spawns.

Higher levels are slightly harder to catch, so throw a little better. You're lucky to have cooperating weather.

Hi MM, how often do you get windy weather in Singapore? Is this specific to a particular area or island wide? As I mentioned before I live in Bangkok and travel to Singapore often for work. Please let me know if windy weather is regular there as I would be keen to catch more dragons and psychics in Singapore. Thanks

1:36 to 1:47 - "Siri, what is the weather now in Singapore?" "Hot lah, if not hot then raining lah, your house no window cannot see outside ah? Singapore weather only got sun or rain" (Note: Plus cloudy and partly cloudy.)

P.S. DragoniteSlayer and hkn (me) are from Singapore. MetagrossMaxis is not.

OK, thanks my bad ... I recalled from some earlier posts that MM was a Son of the Lion City. That must have been you. I hear ya loud and clear on the hot and rainy weather.

Normally it would mean that there would be even MORE Beldum spawns. But they've talked about changing the Weather Boost spawn rate, so... who knows.
