Togekiss‘ potential

I know this is all hypothetical talking, but what kind of potential does Togekiss have in Go? As of now, there‘s obviously no Fairy fast moves, which hinders most Fairy Pokemon. The only non-signature move that‘s not yet in Go is Fairy Wind, which could make for a usable fast move in my opinion, and Togekiss can learn it. Would a double Fairy Togekiss be any good (or would Togekiss be at all any good)? And would it also be a viable Flying attacker, assuming Niantic gave it Air Slash and Sky Attack?

A double fairy set would make togekiss eclipse gardevoir as the best fairy attacker, not to mention its quite bulky. Even if it doesnt get a double fairy set, it will do wonders in machamp raids for its double resistance (if not fighting a steel set)
And being the only pokemon to my knowledge with the ability to get a double fairy set, and its a fairly popular pokemon, it seems unlikely they wouldn't give it that set.

That‘s pretty much what I thought, just wanted to get a few more opinions. Good thing I‘ve got two 91% and one recently hatched 98% Togepi sitting in the box. Togekiss won‘t be the only one, there should be about a dozen Pokemon be able to get double Fairy, although the only other viable ones would be Sylveon and Florges I guess

With the second highest attack of all fairy types currently in Go and with more bulk than Gardevoir, it would pass it up as the premier fairy type assuming it got a double fairy moveset. Without a fairy fast move it would likely have a Machamp/Hariyama relationship with Gardevoir, where one has higher DPS and the other higher TDO.

With AS/SA, it would trail behind AS/AA Rayquaza on the DPS front by about one point while having higher TDO. It would likely become the new top flying specialist simply since Rayquaza is better suited as a dragon attacker. Note that in a neutral vacuum AS/OR Rayquaza beats AS/SA Togekiss on DPS and TDO fronts.

For a top flying specialist though, consider dual flying Moltres should they go that route. It can learn all available flying fast moves and it has access to Sky Attack in the main series. WA/SA Moltres has higher DPS and TDO than AS/AA Rayquaza.

Togekiss will be a good defender pretty much regardless of its movesets. Great bulk with double resistance to both fighting and dragon.
