Suicune=waste of resources/$/time??
Anyone agrees?
I love raids and I dont mind spending money on it but having suicune for 1 month is a drag.
I like having a variety of usable pokemons with double stab moves but suicune just ain't it.
When legends were released my plan was to power up 1 of each to lv 30, I already have 1 of each birds at lv30 but Im having second thoughts on suicune.
I am lv38 with 2m+ stardust so its not an issue to power up but in which scenario do I use suicune over vaporean?
I'm still trying to find something positive to justify myself to power up this guy but I just can't find any.
Even though I can afford it, the nerf to raid rewards makes me less motivated to spend more money on raid passes.
Before the nerf, I would do raids just for the rewards even though I have already caught a high iv bird.
The day before the beast was released I have 200+ gold rasp, as of today I have 170+.
I'm not even breaking even on my gold rasp expenditure trying to catch suicune which I doubt will have any uses for me.

it also floods the map reducing the number of better quality raids.
in our whole region there was one ttar (that i didn't see until it had 15 minutes left to late to arrange a raid)
and one champ which spawned just as i finished cooking dinner. While there was a Sui every 15 minutes it seemed.
Caught a 100% on my 6th Sui raid and have nothing to do for a month now.
I do not have much time on weekdays due to working. Compare to Legendary birds period, particular on Lugia, I do not have much luck (or skill), so almost have to try more after work. Hence no opportunity for others.
For the two beast mentioned above, two (or three) of each type are enough for me, and I tried to use the GYM time to catch others when possible and hope get sufficient T-Tars/Snorlex before Mewtwo is out. However if not enough people, then will try to solo (or Duo) Machamp.
I hope Lugia can come back sometime since Ho-Ho is not yet out, maybe every Sunday. So it will keep me busy.
Gengar, Alakazam, Machamp and golem where Pretty bad Pokemon before the cp rebalance, while lapras and arcanine where top tier, now suicune is Pretty useless, but it can gain an Edge over vape in the future, while you can't even manage to get a suicune anymore, they must introduce abilities to male Pokémon differenti, and usable despite their lower cp, example:
Vaporeon, Water Absorb (damage taken by Water moves reduced by 50%)
Suicune, Pressure (Enemy Pokémon charges the charge bar slower)
I won't be doing many raids on suicine when it's Englands turn to catch that Rubbish. I'll Catch one for the pokedex ofc. I don't care about IV's on a pokemon that has no relevance in the meta. As for the possibility Niantic will buff it in future, well i'm not spending precious coins on that chance.
Very disappointed Niantic created a worthless Legendary. Maybe they decided Vaporeon was so powerful the game shouldn't have another great water pokemon?
ok maybe it's useless, but I have 4 and I still feel a rush from catching it, even the last one which I knew was pretty bad at 1550cp.
I got 9GR and caught it on the first throw so that was exciting too.
This game can't keep a top level of excitement all the time, you have to have ups and down.
To me hunting for a raid, in a gym from my team, where I'll think they'll be enough people, in a new neighborhood; running when I see my team's gym is being attacked, feeding all my banab and raspberries to the last defender in the last seconds before the suicune egg hatches, just to keep gym team bonus; catching the suicune with 2GR left... all that is really exciting
