Suicune fast TM hidden power query

Im confused on how hidden power works.
I caught my 1st suicune and it has poison hidden power.

So what will happen if we fast tm a suicune that has ES?
Will it give me back a poison hidden power or another random element?
Water hidden power is the best I assume so the chances of getting it is 1/18 considering all the elements available?

Once your individual mon has chosen it's hidden power, it will always get the same one again.
This is for Suicune and for all other mons with Hidden Power.

The 2 I would be happy to get on Suicune would be Rock or Water...preferably water.

This is new. So to make things clear... no matter how many fast TM's I use if ever I get another Hidden Power Fast attack it will always be the same hidden power type?

Thats what I want to know too.
I have 33 FTM now but my suicune only 82% so its not worth it to test on.

Before Suicune, some people tested this and used multiple fast TMs and ALWAYS got the same Hidden Power move back...

Unless they changed something, it should be the exact same move type.

Yep. This is how it works with the other pokemon that have Hidden Power too. The type remains the same if you TM, then TM back to Hidden Power.

In the main series games, Hidden Power's type is based on IVs, which can't be changed, so the Hidden Power type is locked in also. Pokemon Go isn't using IVs to calculate Hidden Power's type, but it is probably using some set number as a seed to generate the same type.

Yes...that is the case.

No matter how many times you use a TM you will switch to the alternate move and then back to the same Hidden Power type.

It was this way for Starmie, and others with Hidden Power, and is the same for Suicine.

So whoever owns a water hidden power suicune is extremely lucky
Suicune is meh anyways, if only it had water gun or other fast water moves it would still be usable for me
