Strongest hypothetical Pokémon in terms of DPS?

Completely unnecessary question but if you could pretty much pokegen PoGo and give your Pokémon the best moves for its type what Pokémon would be the overall king in DPS? The top 5? Or even each type? I know the current legendary kings of their type would headline except for Zapdos taking Raikous spot for top electric type.

Maybe Deoxys with Confusion/Futuresight or Psystrike?

You can customize species in GP's DPS/TDO rankings to get these answers. Here's what I got from there, using only pokemon and moves that have been released:

Dragon, overall #1: Rayquaza, Dragon Tail/Outrage
Normal, overall #2: Slaking, Pound/Hyper Beam
Psychic: Mewtwo, Confusion/Future Sight
Ground: Groudon, Mud Shot/Drill Run
Water: Kyogre, Waterfall/Hydro Pump
Ghost: Gengar, Shadow Claw/Shadow Ball
Poison: Gengar, Poison Jab/Sludge Bomb
Steel: Metagross, Steel Wing/Heavy Slam
Electric: Zapdos, Spark/Wild Charge
Dark: Tyranitar, Snarl/Foul Play
Fire: Moltres, Fire Spin/Overheat
Fighting: Blaziken, Counter/Dynamic Punch
Bug: Pinsir, Bug Bite/X-Scissor
Fairy: Mewtwo, Confusion/Play Rough (followed by P/PR Slaking and C/PR Gardevoir)
Grass: Exeggutor, Vine Whip/Frenzy Plant (higher DPS than Origin Pulse Kyogre! Frenzy Plant is broken)
Ice: Jynx, Frost Breath/Avalanche
EDIT: Flying: Rayquaza, Wing Attack/Sky Attack
EDIT2: Rock: Tyranitar, Rock Throw/Rock Slide

Deoxys's 345 base attack stat would make it top fighting, bug, fairy, grass and ice even without STAB.

Is Origin Pulse already in the code? What about precipice blades and dragon ascent?

Psystrike has been in the code for ages and Origin Pulse, Precipice Blades and Doom Desire have been for a while. Not sure about Dragon Ascent.

Is X-Scissor really the best bug move in terms of DPS? For some reason I thought Bug Buzz or something was better but I don’t remember. I didn’t see flying but I assume Rayquaza with Air Slash/Sky Attack would put him #1 for all gens.

Also this was pure DPS and I would guess it’s an entirely different chart when you consider TDO.

I was also surprised by the bug type winner but I double checked and it's the result that GP's calculator gives. Bug Bite/Bug Buzz was #2.
I do seem to have forgotten flying, top is Wing Attack/Sky Attack Ray. I'll edit that in.

This was pure DPS and there would be some changes for sure if it was TDO.

I was wondering about Rock type, too. I've heard that Rhydon with RT would be better than Golem, but by how much (say, in a Entei/Moltres/Ho-Oh raid)? Also how would it compare to Gyarados, Kyogre etc. in the aforementioned raids? Now, if it got Rock Slide as well...

Oooops :D For rock in this list the winner is by far Rock Throw/Rock Slide Tyranitar.

Golem was already better for DPS against Moltres/Ho-Oh than any water type, double rock Tyranitar would be even more so. For Entei, RT/RS Ttar is just behind Kyogre and a fair better than Gyarados.

Thanks a lot for the info! This goes to show that Kyogre really is absurdly strong. I find it highly unlikely that Tyranitar would get even a Rock type fast move, not to mention getting Rock Slide. EDIT: ...and that's why I was speculating specifically about RT Rhydon. :)

Well, Tyranitar and Rhydon can't learn Rock Throw no matter what, so speculating about that move specifically is fairly useless. What OP asked was a purely theoretical exercise.
Smack Down is in the code now and hopefully we'll soon see it assigned to some pokemon.
