Starting off the new year bad.

So bad. No STAB with such good IVs. What a waste SMH.

So much for this one being an attacker.

In my opinion a 98% IV Dragonite is never a waste, save it, don't power up but wait, probably in the future we have some sort of way to influence moves, paying by coins to reroll moveset ;)

I have only seen 2 of them in the wild on 6 months of playing, 2770CP and 1700CP, both ran away...

Both my dragonites ( 93% and 96% iv ) got this moveset :/

That's a good defender. SW/DC will hit hard as most trainers don't know the timing to dodge DC when they are too busy spamming quick attacks.

Ive got the same dragonite and it totally rocks! Named him Defonite, he will guard gyms for weeks

I'm level 34. I'm 35 km away from my Jogger Gold medal. I've seen everything in the wild at least once...except a Dragonite. I have two Dragonites. Since I see more Snorlax than Dratini in my neighborhood (literally) I have a hard time with them. My first Gragonite was the result of three 170 mile roundtrips to a place that frequented dratinis. The fruits of my labor? Steel Wing/Hyper Beam. The second Dragonite was the result of three hatched Dratini...the rest of the candy was walked. Steel Wing/Dragon Claw.

One of them I throw into gyms for prestige (he's like 3060. But generally they're junk. A trophy to wasted time and opportunity. Just like yours. At least a near perfect IV will still yield maximum CP...which I find more useful than any moveset.

This was my first Dragonite encounter. I ran 3 avenues to get to it. And when I clicked on it, it turned out to be level 1. I now keep it to remind me, never run for a Dragonite.

What's the point of having perfect attacking dragonite? It's better that the highest IV gets defensive livest for higher Cp

Since the babies were released the spawn rate for Jinx was changed. What use to be a rare to get ice type is now constantly doing frequent spawns and cluster spawns in the same areas across 3 towns. A 3000 CP Dragonite is no longer a good defender as a 1800 CP Jinx FB/IP can knock out without dodging the quick attacks. By the time the HB charges and fires, it will faint during the attack animation. I now use Dragonites exclusively to attack gyms.

My maxed out 34.5 level 100% IV Dragonite DB/DC WRECKS gyms. It can steamroll through 4-7 mons in a gym. I use less potions and never faint attacking gyms. That's why high IV maxed CP attacking Dragonite is worth it

Can't believe people complain about this stuff, you've had it way too easy it seems.

Prob some folks played for 5 months since start and still haven't found a Dratini/Dragonite so they don't want to hear others complain about movesets on near perfect IV mons when they don't even have a single one...

I'm happy to have mine with SW/DC. The good thing about Dragonite is you never get a terrible move-set. Either, it's good on attack, good on defense, or serviceable on both.

You're a loser. 98% IV and solid defensive moveset. This is a great pokemon which will sit at the top of gyms for weeks. Max this guy out and you will be so happy.

I've also got a 14/15/15 SW/HB Dragonite and he maxes out at 3517 CP
