Solo boss health rubber banding

These 2 days i've tried fighting 2 tangelas with a team consisted of Blaziken lv35, Flareon lv30, Moltres lv35, Charizard lv35 (Blast Burn), Rayquaza lv30 (Double Flying) and a filler slot (Scizor lv35).

What i've found out in common is these 2 raids, exactly around 2 times in a row, i can dodge Tangela's attacks very well, then suddenly my Blaziken or Flareon will SELF DESTRUCT then the boss will actually gain health equal to around 1 or 2 charged move damage dealt. Of course if this happens it's reset time because there is NOT ENOUGH TIME for you to recoup the lost health. Even if you think you can win, if you see this glitch you are dead.

Because of this, today's Tangela Solo took me a whopping 3 attempts and yesterday 2. It also happens if i'm fighting against other stuff like Raichu and Donphan, which again is the same GG response. Ironically if i'm fighting machamp or piloswine, this never happens, it only happens on the harder raid bosses and is happening more frequently than usual since some time ago.

For other times, Gym battling has became even worse because it becomes more frequent that i had clearly dodged an attack and i will take full damage as if i didn't dodge it.

Has anyone ever saw these bullshit glitches happening more frequently? Because they are NOT a part of this game. There is a fine line of what belongs and what does not.

It's just a variant of the dodge bug. Sometimes the server decides a bit late that your mon is dead instead of having successfully dodged and rolls back to the point where it happened, losing all damage you did in the meantime. It's happened to me every once in a while for at least 6 months.

This bug has been there since late 2016, so it's been a part of this game for a while.

Happens to me sometimes as well (lately more often than before) and when it happens, it is always after dodging a charged attack that would have killed me if I didn't dodge it. So I accept server lag as an explanantion.

What's more annoying tho is that when you don't restart the battle after this happens (cause I usually don't need to) and the next pokemon faints, no new pokemon will be switched in untill u manually select one and sometimes when reviving afterwards, I even find that the glitched mon still had some HP left.

That was not my case. In my case the pokemon has literally been fainted and is showing up in the revives section, and the next pokemon will show up as usual, but it will be hit instantly by another charged move.

Ive had that too when raiding where my next guy immediately gets hit by the charge move when my previous guy just got toasted by one. I figured it was just spamming charge moves.

I have also noticed a couple times when battling that their health just goes up for no reason while still battling with the same guy. I remember this happening before but hadn’t seen it for awhile

I have yet to encounter this in tier 3 raids, but have seen it in gym battles. Ever faced a 9999 CP Hitmonchan?

Yeah, same damn glitch. I’ve done a dozen of Donphan and Tangela solos these days and it’s always on first attempt until I find a boss with this glitch, and it doesn’t matter how many times I retry. I thought it was poor connection because it was usually in very different gyms (I’m on vacation abroad), and didn’t happen to me in my usual raid area, but maybe it’s just more common now...

The most frustrating issue for me is when your pokemon (Say pokemon#1) gets hit by a charge move then your next pokemon (#2) comes out but it then immediately faints due to some sync issues with the game and server. Used to make some Tier 3's that should be easy solo's to nightmares as it keeps happening over and over again.

There is a very simple solution to this problem: DON'T DODGE. You shouldn't need to dodge with that team, and in general, there are very few situations where dodging helps you in T3 solo raids.

Dodging may be unnecessary against Donphan, but there certainly are enough tier 3 solo raids where dodging helps.
