Put in a near 3000 Snorlax and they know you've been in the game a long time and taking it back is no big deal. But put in a 900 Chansey and they think you need a gimmick to cling on to that gym. I've done it twice, caught a 900 Chansey on other side of town and wanted its health depleted. Other time I was walking a poke stop loop and battling gyms, somebody kept knocking me out each 1km lap (my Blisseys were tied up). Finally they put a Wobbuffet in to slow me, my Tyranitar ate it whole...I put in Chansey to slow them, then left...it didn't last 10 minutes

Snorlax vs Chansey
GP defender tier list puts Snorlax ZH/ BS/ HS and Chansey ZH/ DG at the same level after Blissey, so it's obvious they're above all others "good" defenders, maybe defending it's not important, but defending your pride as a team is xD which of the two S rated defenders is better? In your own experience, counters or mere stats

Hmm, depends I guess what you want to accomplish. If you really want to stall hard, Chansey is the way to go. Snorlax is good if you want to put a decent dent on Machamp. Personally, I like Snorlax more because he can hold his own in gyms. Chansey needs to be paired Blissey or Snorlax in order for the long stall to work.
