Raid boss stats question

For example when reading the solo guide for Machamp it says that Raid boss Machamp has 3,000 HP , 181.77 Attack and 129.21 Defense. But in the Machamp's base stats page it says Attack 234, Defense 162. About the HP I know how it works in raids but as it seems are also the other stats affected? (nerfed in this case)
