Question about attacker Ho-Oh

Does Steel Wing/ Fire Blast MS is pretty underwhelming even with the big fire bird stats? For example, it’s DPS is worse than Entei’s FS/ O against Piloswine or the posibly coming Regice?

I do have a 100% Blaziken fighter at level 30, I’m thinking about switching it to fire and powering it up—my Charizards were very lackluster yesterday. Depends on how much stardust I earn rest of the month. Ho-Oh I don’t see many possibilities, but I did catch a 13a/11/15 shiny yesterday

What are you powering up fire attackers for though? Againt Regice and Registeel you should just use Machamps if you don't have legendary fire mons.

Yes, the lack of STAB on the quick move hurts a lot and Fire Blast is a terrible charge move. I'm not sure if the last part is a question but Entei is #5 DPS against Piloswine while Ho-Oh is #16. Against Regice Entei is #2 while Ho-Oh is #11. Moveset makes the pokemon in POGO.

Against Regice, Ho-Oh is on average the #1 TDO though, so it could have a role as your anchor to prevent losing damage with a rejoin.
