PvP Win/Loss Rate

How are you all doing? I wish there was an in-game tracker for overall win/loss statistics.

I'm sitting around a 75-80% win rate with just over 90 wins, not counting matches where someone has frozen or one of us has had to back out due to desyncing.

Been doing pretty good. My Master has been better than my Ultra. I just like the more viable options in the Ultra. My master team is pretty much Metagross Tyranitar and Raikou. Only trouble I have is against Groudon. Other than that I do well. I have about 10-15 mons I like in Ultra. I find it more diverse and fun.

I've played about twice as much in Ultra as the other two put together - it definitely seems the widest pool of mon, and has lots of niches for odd mon to perform really well.

Raikou is not good in PVP, use Zapdos instead. Also i recommend replacing the Tyranitar for Giratina or Rayquaza for Anti-Groudon purposes.

Zapdos have worse typing, and moves. Overall electric is not useful here and only vs Gary have good matchup.

TB is pretty much equal to WC in PvP, slightly less PTE but charges slightly faster. As to typing, ice and rock are not very popular in Masters league (at least until Mamoswine) and the resistance to ground can help if stuck against Groudon.

I rolled the dice on my 2490 Mew, had SC/Psyshock did just one CTM and got Wild Charge. I figure now I'll never lose again (also helps that nobody here PvPs)

Win rate close to 100% in masters against locals. Against stronger players from overseas they outrun me.

That doesnt give your overall winrate. That could be just one battle against locals you won, but like 80 against overseas that are all loses.

I've ran a total of 20-30 battles against locals and lost only once because of a badly timed shield. For 2 times fighting with my overseas community members, they easily outmaneuver me and i lose.

If you do not know, my team is Zapdos, Heatran/Metagross and Giratina. I could replace one of the last 2 with a Darkrai when the time comes. I simply seldomly lose to locals using that lineup because they just use the 2 shields on the first 2 charged moves and got ran over by Giratina or Zapdos usually.

So a wellplayed dual moved Ttar could RIP through you without Heatran, and still take 2/3 with it No wonder.

I like to use unloved Pokemon in PvP like Bunneary, Delcatty, Dunsparce, etc. I lose ALOT but it's fun taking out a PvP opponent with trash.

If I'm realllllly trying to win ill bust out Pinsir and Sceptile to deal with all the Mewtwos and Ttars that get hurled at me

Weavile in ultra league can be a problem. An example, this site's new guide assumes someone will buy a second move for Giratina-A. Well, seems Ancient Power would be needed bc 2490 Foul Play Weavile railroaded both a Ghost Giratina AND a Metagross. Some ways like a dice game, not sure investing a lot of dust/candy/TMs is wise unless you and your list really active with PvP.

Difficult to say. For my part I like to try out some random Pokémon. That combined with my losses by bad connection the first 2 days it's probably not that great and sometimes I lose on purpose that people dont quit playing with me.

btw: since 2019 I'm counting. Still unbeaten with a 0-0 record ;)

Impossible to say for sure. Most of my matches have been in great league, where I think I have about 75% winrate because most locals still don't remember all movesets or even fully grasp type effectiveness.

I don't even have the silver medal yet for either masters or ultra because people here don't play them much, but I'd guess they are both around 50% winrate, masters probably a bit below.
