Potion Drop Rate Reduced?
I think there was a previous post on this but I can't find it. I have noticed a significant reduction on potions be dropped. Anyone else experiencing this. I use to be able to restock on potion in my daily pokestop visits, but now I am just getting more berries and balls. So, my overall potion stash is declining that is not the result of me battling more. Anyone else?

They have added more items to the possible drop table, without adding more drops per pokestop.
This can only result in less of the items we always got, so that we are able to get the new drops.
If they keep adding to the possible items gained from pokestops, then they need to increase the number of items we get - or we just get less to play with.
Maybe we call the game 'Pokemon Stops' now, instead of 'Pokemon Go'
I have a theory i made over the last months of playing, and its that the game stops giving you what you use most. Example, when im concentrated on figthing gyms, my bag fills out of pokeballs, berrys, etc. But when i'm only focused on catching pokemon for xp, i ran out of pokeballs, this happened clearlier in the starters events, where i had ~450 pokeballs, and only few potions and end up with about ~10 and tons of potions, then the event finished and with so many pots i started to fight every gym i could come across and guess what no pots and tons of pokeball.
PS. I live in an area where are tons of pokestops and gyms so spining wasnt the issue
Again, just a theory based on my experience. I'm day one player
Me it's the opposite. The items you have most in your bag you get in pokestops. Have 120x all pokéballs and that's all you gonna get are pokeballs. Have 50 pokéballs but 100xp all potions, you gonna get potions in pokéstops. It's all about what you have most in your bag. If you want items, you might want to try and throw as much pokéballs away as needed and try it out. I never challenged this theory though.
Your theory works fine with random distribution. If you battle, you use your potions and not your balls. So your balls get more.
If you mainly catch, you use your balls and not your potions. So your potions stack, your balls empty.
There is no reason to assume, that pokestops try to annoy you activly.
I remember reading in a post awhile back that said if you have any item over a certain % of your inventory then that is the item that you will receive the majority of...
So something you can try is to use a sheet load of balls to get your inventories near each other and see if that helps. I've been experiencing the same thing so for the last 2 days ive been throwing berries at everything and catching every critter. Still not quite in balance as i keep spinning the stops but i'm gonna see if it helps or if we just get less pots.
