Lure spawns can be scary. With 2 minute spawn durations, high attack/dodge rates, and the inability to be tracked from a Pokemon scanner/ingame Nearby function, the result can often be unpredictable. Today, after getting out of class early, I found a level 30 perfect wild Lotad from a lure during 1 hour of rain caused by a faulty weather report.

That's great! I've gotten about 6 out of 9 of my Ralts from using incense during cloudy weather

Nice! Incense is fascinating cause you never really know what you're gonna get!

I actually lured a Kangaskhan at the Anaheim WORLDS event, and a Dratini at the Santa Monica Pier

Sometimes they are a total bust but they work great during events and the weather system has made them a bit more useful. I've noticed too that if youre a passenger in a moving vehicle you can get about twice as many spawns from an incense instead of the usual 5 or 6

Nice catch! I actually found and caught my perfect Murkrow randomly from a lure module during the Thanksgiving event when Ho-oh was around. And, I thought of passing up that Murkrow, too! Since then, I always remind myself to catch any Pokémon that spawns from a lure, because you just never really know. =P

Recently I've plussed a weatherboosted Ralts and a Beldum and caught a 100% Zubat from a lure.
