Pokemon Day Event !! 02/27/2017

Do anyone know if there will be additional event content (not mentioned in the article) in the game or is it just another Pikachu with a silly hat like last time?

That, and many rumors of Shiny coming out...
This Tweet https://twitter.com/Pokemon/status/834511328572170240 make a little bit stronger this considering that the Shiny Pokémon starts in gen 2.

Party-hat Pikachus will probably be spawning at a higher rate, similar to the Santa-hat Pikachus. They could also just ramp up spawn rates in general like they did for a while after the speed lock was first introduced.

Dbl stardust would be nice...so we can rebuild our attack lineup

Personally, I'm hoping for double XP so I can finally use lucky eggs to burn through all the candy I got during Valentine's Day event. I'm a little over halfway to 36, and one week of double XP would get me past 36 and a decent amount of the way to 37.
