PoGo Plus not connecting after Adventure Week update?

Is anyone else having issues with their PoGo Plus, after the Adventure Week started, not connection to their Pokémon Go at all anymore? I've had issues in the past (who hasn't with PoGo Plus?) but the normal troubleshooting has usually worked. Since Adventure Week began, nothing is working anymore.

Is this just me, or is there a wider issue going on?
