Pikachu spawn rate not increased for this event?

go to nest map and find a nest nearby...that's my best advice. Although I haven't confirmed that nest pikas will also produce hat pika's. You have until March 6. Nests will likely remain the same until then.

Nope. They didn't increase the spawn rate like w/ the Christmas hat event. Was sad that my local Pikachu spawn was replaced by totodile spawn.

in my region pikachus are super rare, but today i've seen one in the sightings tab. i guess there might have been a tiny increase.

I think there has been a slight increase. I've seen three show up in nearby/sightings while I only have seen one other one since the xmas event.

I feel like they roughly doubled the chance of finding a Pikachu. Which makes it still not significant. Based on numbers from others.

I've seen one so far, but I came to late to catch it.
