Phoenix area raid groups
Just came to Phoenix to visit family for the week. Was on a plane when Dialga raids started, itching to catch one. Any info on discord, groupme, messenger, telegram, etc., groups in the Phoenix area to coordinate raid groups? Level 40 player with 6 powered up 'Champs, can definitely contribute.

I'm in Phoenix. It is a huge city in terms of the geographic area it encompasses, especially when one includes the entire metropolitan area, including the adjacent cities of Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Glendale, etc., etc. My recommendation is use Discord and find the channel for the city (or in the case of the city of Phoenix, the area of Phoenix in which you are located). The most active channel in the city of Phoenix is probably "phx-central". I don't use Facebook, but in Phoenix, generally Discord is considered to be a much better resource than Facebook.
I visit the Scottsdale area a couple times a year, and I've looked in on their discord when I've been there, but it's pretty dead. It's separated into many areas, but other than phx-central, you'll be lucky to see more than one post a day, usually from someone from out of town. From people I know who live there (and used to play the game), raids are pretty much done by people in cars playing with a bunch of phones, and they usually do private groups, so you probably wouldn't chance into a lobby with them even if you waited around an hour. Unless you get really lucky, you're looking at your family (or your family's phones) being your raid group.
