Was just posted in my discord, the person saying they got it because it was shared in another discord. While hyped, im a bit skeptical on the legitimacy, because its blurred a bit.

What do you guys think?

Side note, gonna be super sad if this is legit and mamoswine's global release is mamoswine day, after ray leaves

The translation sounds fishy...but yeah, if this does happen, it would be a very big botched opportunity by Niantic to let trainers get the most out of their Mamoswine. Of course, pretty much every single person I've ever raided with just uses the "recommended" Pokemon, which are usually Cloyster and Aggron, no matter what the boss is...

Its just such a wasted opportunity, mamoswine is the single best coutner to rayqyaza, and it leaves before we get the guy's CD

Hopefully, if this is legit, they release mamoswine the 29th, and it has Avalanche in its standard set, or they tell us what mamoswine's getting before its too late and if its not an ice move, we still get to use them against rayquaza.

The 1/30-2/12 is a bit odd, as the weather duo leaves the 29th.

The weather duo would leave on the 30th in Japan if it leaves the same time as it does in the US (time zones FTW).

Cluster isn't a bad choice for Ray, though. Not THE BEST, but...

I feel like that would make the most sense. I know everyone is craving a new legendary, but gotta get the older legendary shiny forms out so people will pay for their raid passes and Niantic can take everybody's money...

At least if any legendary is to comeback, rayquaza is probably the best.

I'm half expecting, if this is legit, for niantic to go say "oh yeah, remember outrage, its gonna be legacy" after what they pulled with mewtwo, wouldn't doubt it.

After what happened with that "evolution event" that was supposedly leaked last summer I've learned not to give into the hype for anything. The image having as many pixels as a 1980's music video doesn't help its case for legitimacy either.

On the other hand, it fits thematically to release after Groudon and Kyogre. It's incredibly sought after, both for its shiny and being a fan favorite in general. It also fits Niantic's M.O. of missed opportunities, e.g. Ho-Oh rerun before Larvitar CD, now Rayquaza rerun before Swinub CD.

I hope it’s true but I doubt...Rayquaza is already an ridiculously easy duo ... really don’t want to see it become a ridiculously easy solo... besides what do you care? You have already decreed Rayquaza as useless, really don’t understand why you want to raid it?

Ray as next T5? As much as I would like it, I would hate it just as much, especially with a potential Shiny release. I was barely able to raid during the last two weeks due to work (10 T5s at best, which of course didn‘t grant me a shiny, just my typical luck though), whilst others in my town easily did 30-40+ T5s and got multiple Shinys. Not that I envy them those, I just don‘t need yet another event that I can‘t use to the extent I‘d like to, as it won‘t be any different with my work the next weeks :/

Understandable, a lot of people where i am actually dont want it to be ray, they'd been raiding super hard core and, and used a lot of raid passes, for this, theyd likely repeat that.
