GamePress

Not a question...just a thanks

Dear GP Overlords,

I wish to thank you for the Break Point calculator that you have provided.
I also wish to thank you on behalf of everyone else who comes to GP, for shutting me up for ever needing to harass you all via these forums again...on this issue at least.

This has always been my go to place for reliable and verified information, and this just adds to it.

I have been vocal enough about it, that it is only fair that I thank and praise you just as vocally when I feel it is warranted.

Thanks for this in particular, and thanks for all you do in general.
It is appreciated even if we have a funny way of showing it sometimes.

I second that. Great work as always. The calculator could be more visible on the frontpage of the website however, right below the other calculators (IV, CP, Catch, Ditto, Raid).

Good lord is this break point calculator amazing...it actually centers out what moves the pokemon actually has instead of giving you options to input rock throw on dragonite like those other spreadsheets...

Thanks for the addition Gamepress!

That part is very cool, but my favourite is that it appears to be ready to go for Gen3 now...it just needs relevant moves for the mons.

I am guessing that once the moves are plugged in for each mon, then the calculator will be the first Gen3 breakpoint calculator anywhere ;-)

I could be wrong, but that is what it looks like.

I agree also, much thanks to the powers that be at Gamepress.

The tool looks very useful. I do have a caveat that some people seem to overemphasize the importance of breakpoints, but they do matter, and it's nice to know where they fall.

Now, if only Niantic could get things done as quickly as Gamepress, ....
