Niantic should introduce raid scanners

My main purpose to play right now is to solo T3 and to find relevant T4/T5 raids. Usually I find them on a scanner over my city, meaning that I will often take a bike/carride somewhere and test my team. With more elaborate shadow-banning this is getting more and more difficult. The result is that I play less and send less money to Niantic.

I think it would be in the interest of us all that Niantic itself provides a map with all current and coming raids in the next two hours. Just a small tip if you want to earn more money...

If you are in central Europa, there is a site can help you, gomap.eu. Go there and find your city.

The way his post reads he may already use "usmaps.me" to locate raids. That or gymhuntr which seems to be unreliable in my area. The game needs Discord and Discord needs usmaps. Without either of those two, raiding completely collapses in my city.

Doesn't take care of the central problem. Niantic is loosing money by shadowbanning bots scanning the area. It´s much better if they give the information themselves directly, since more people will attend raids of they can find them. No way I'm going on a random ride to see if I can find one of the few interesting bosses around. Right now I'm only looking for Ttar, Vap, Machamp, Gengar and Arcanine. Eggy if I have a pass I can't use otherwise.

One of the goals of the game is to make people go out and explore. You're not supposed to know exactly where the strong raids are, or where the good pokémon are hidden. That search is a key part of the game, so I doubt Niantic will do this.

Thats an absurd dream. There is no way for people who works to go out and search for raids for hours.
We cant spend that much money and time EVERY day.

that's fine for walking and looking around in a 1 square mile area for pokemon, but silly when we are talking about a need to look in a 100 square mile area for raids in a subburb. So much wasted gas and frustration. With egg timers now cutting raid times in half nobody has that kind of time to do this every day to use their free pass. Unless you are living right downtown or on a campus with 6 easy to see gyms, it's just not realistic.

Absolutely. For Niantic's previous game, Ingress, they provided the "Intel Map" which showed perfectly detailed stats on where the portals (that games stops/gyms) were, which team controlled them, and how well stacked they were. It's one thing to not have a detailed scanner for wild pokemon, there is absolutely no reason the raid locations, times, and which boss they have is not accessible knowledge Niantic provides. In lower population areas with lot's of gyms the vast majority of worthwhile raids (Legends, Ttars, etc) go completely unchallenged. And personally, if Niantic told me where the different T3's were going to be (mostly Machamp for soloing) I wouldn't use any third party programs.

We sort of have one already. The more Pokemon you have currently defending in gyms, the more you can constantly peep at and see te motivation and if there is an egg/Raid going on.

Exit out and click on the nearby Pokemon and scroll over to Raids and you can then see how long a Raid has left if it is going on. Distance doesn't matter. It will still show you all that info.

They could certainly use the gym badges for raid information. Maybe provide more information the better badge you have?
plain: egg/raid going on
bronze: minutes left
silver: raid level
gold: boss
