Edit: Just pointing out a fact for salty boys around here. Using this website's tools are a form of cheating. So we all cheat everyday. Stop beein salty about other's actions and move on with your life.

Lawyer here, and I think I disagree with you that using this website's tools is a form of cheating. First, "cheating" should be understood to mean violating Niantic's terms of service. No other definition makes much sense. Niantic's terms of service pertain to how a player uses Niantic's services. I have no reason to believe that using this site's tools could possibly violate Niantic's terms of service because Niantic is not providing the services offered by this web site.

Cheats doesnt determined by how you feel about them or what you believe. You are revealing stuff which is hidden in game. Thats a cheating for niantic , not me...
So stop beein so salty about everyone that points a fact you dont want to accept.

they are just warning them to delete the program off their device? I guess they will just have to live with their ten 100% Blissey and ten 100% Ttar on their level 40 account and play straight up from here. Of course, having that 2M in stardust won't hurt.

That's why a middle of the road would work (being generous for pos spoofers).
Reduce the number of items they get from pokestops, disable gym privileges during certain hours. This won't be enough for them to quit, but it'll keep them still goes while frustrated as a punishment.

Hopefully this means they can stop worrying about spoofers and start focusing the actual game itself.

I assume this is what is messing with usmaps, finding and organizing raid groups will be tougher--I've got plenty of everything and know plenty of raiders reporting on discord, so not too bad for me

Yeah, if they're finally gonna start cracking down on spoofers, Niantic absolutely needs to make they're own raid map.

My city has 1000s of gyms with many raids going at any given time. If a good legendary attempt isn't going, it can be a little stressful to find a decent smaller scaled raid instead. Not going to hear about those on the outside chat apps. On weekdays I think the successful tier 5 raids will happen near the major roads and highways 5:30 pm to 7 pm on the best side of town, they've already started being that way.
