New Loading Screen makes the actual game look bad

Its beautiful and I love it but it really clashes with the bland in-game catch screens. I'd love it if the catch screen corresponded to the geography of the walk map. If you have a bunch of buildings near you, make it cityscape. Park area? Make it look like park. Beach? Beach. Mountains? Mountains, etc.

I know I could just turn on AR but I'd prefer some nice topographical artwork instead

What are you talking about?

I dunno. I just like the new loading screen is all.

Edit: After rereading my topic, it does sound like a bunch of gibberish. I should have worded it much differently

I miss the simpler more stylized loading screens.

I agree it would be nice.

If I'm in the middle of a big city I get to catch the Pokemon with buildings in the background.
If I'm at the beach, there's sand/water.
In the forest, there's trees.
etc.

However, I do wonder if it'll just be too demanding for the game. Either the game will take up more storage on your phone or else it will take a toll on the servers. And will the added graphics be too demanding on some phones?

That's exactly what I had in mind. Just some dynamic scenery based on where you are on the map. They would only need 8 or so new backgrounds, layered with weather and daytime/nighttime filters

Parks/Forest
Proximity to ponds/lakes
Proximity to ocean
Residential
City
Mountains
Desert

I don't think it would be anymore demanding than the weather system or the upcoming friendship/trading system, which is probably gonna wreck phones with 2 gig RAM anyway

That would be legit if the catch screen changed based on the biome you currently were in.
