Most profitable raids

If you are by yourself, probably level 2.
If you have another player, level 3.

There is a big jump in difficulty up to level 4. Need a lot more players to have a chance.

For soloing raids, most efficient would be a low level one. Wouldn't go lower than 2. Most practical would be level 3 if you can do it alone. Jumping into a level 4 raid without knowing if there will be other trainers OR enough trainers is a huge waste. Been there, done that.

Certain level 3s are beatable solo by level 32+. Arcanine, Machamp, Gengar, maybe Flareon with Ember and Jolteon with ThunderShock.

I have only gotten one TM yet and it was from a tier 3 raid. No TMs from any of my solo tier 1/2 raids or tier 4 raids with a group. Rare candies were pretty evenly distributed for me.

Are the rewards better if your team owns the gym?

I got 2 TMs from a level 1 and 4 (group of 5 lapras) right off the bat first 3 gyms. Then another from a solo machamp a few gyms later the first day. Then no TMs the next 32 gyms (levels 1 to 3).

I stopped doing level 3's solo because it's too close. Catch a few dodge bugs or glitchy poor reception delays and I'd time out
