Mewtwo ran away
Raided a Mewtwo with 16 other trainers and ended up with only 9 balls. Failed to catch it. The cp is 2258 (iv ~ 90 I guess). Notice the boss has PC+SB, so although the SB and HB have become legacy, the boss still possesses them. Although failed to catch it, good thing to me is I got 2 CTM from the raid and change my 98 Raikou from TB to WC (used 3 CTM).

Did one today after work. It knew PC/FT during the fight and I caught it with C/FB. CP was 27-something, being the first weather boosted Mewtwo I've raided while also having garbage IVs.
For having more HP it went down quicker than I expected. After being told it was challenging for parties full of 20 I was surprised to only go through three Pokemon with a lobby of 16: my own Mewtwo, Gengar, and a Tyranitar.
I'm told the catch rate was nerfed, despite having caught it on a Pinap with one ball. Is this true?
My one try had 7 trainers, all main accounts. 4 were level 40, 3 upper 30s, most had ultra friend damage bonus. My party is optimal and maxed. We finished psychic with 126 sec left. Granted I saw one Aggron and partly cloudy likely got other people's SD/SE and B/SE Tyranitars brought up instead of the better Tyranitars. I fainted with 130 sec left. No dodge, maxed 2 Gengar, 2 Mewtwo, 2 Tyranitar. I didn't hear anyone that didn't catch it, they also did one 5 min before the one I joined
It went from 6% to 2%, the same rate as most legendaries. For reference, Exeggutor has a 20% catch rate and a much lighter circle especially after feeding it a GRB. Pre-nerf, Mewtwo's ring changed from deep red to orange-ish after GRB. I haven't been able to do another Mewtwo to check but I'd bet its catch circle doesn't even change color anymore, just like Lugia or Rayquaza.
