I assume so, but we should be patient. We all are trying to digest this information as a community, and we still don't have the full picture. The great work done by people here and over at the Silph road still isn't the complete picture. We don't have a good way of comparing tankiness and damage output, and none of the analysis I've seen includes the effects of the increased weakness/resistances, or the overall effects of W/R.
So the picture is changing daily, if not hourly, and to ask the people here to put out modified guides as things change is a huge ask. Let them sort things out, get to the bottom of all the changes, and then put out their recommendations. It's like any scientific endeavor - peer review and careful work are critical.
Personally, I'm thinking that the semi-tanks, not Blissey, but Lapras, Milotic, the Regis, etc., will be the ones that shine in PvP, but we'll have to see. Much math to do before we know what's best.
