Kingler missed opportunity

Niantic missed an opportunity for a challenging tier 3 solo. Kingler with his high atk, high def and versatile moves could be a really cool tier 3.

Shiny Kyogre is enough of a crowd pleaser, when people start posting them here Kingler will become an afterthought (always has been one). Wife’s account got a 2291 shiny yesterday (I got a 2320 regular)

Versatile moves? More like bad moves. I'd still love to see it because it'd be moderately challenging. At least they gave us Sharpedo with its abysmal defense stat to do all kinds of fun stuff with.

It's sad because Kingler has higher attack than Gyarados. Had surf replaced water pulse during the Gen 3 move shuffle it could have been pretty beastly.

Versatile in the sense that they are all different type, with x-scissor being very difficult unless you have a full electric team. WP will still hit hard on raikou and Zapdos if you don't dodge.
