Kingdra for PvP

So im building a kingdra, I know dragon breath's a must.

But as for charge moves, which would be best to have, and in what league would kingdra do best in?

My Kingdra has outrage as a charge move and I’ve got to say, that it works very nicely in the great league. It’s my dragon type back up and it deals a lot of damage. However it is pretty frail.

Just decided to give out a straight answer.

I use a WG/B version and while it's not phenomenally strong, it's a useful mon for delivering an off type move.

I rather have a crappy IV Flygon from egg to be in Great League as my go-to Dragon type, and Altaria as an alternative when I get bored of it. Kingdra has a lot of resistances, but it's weaker than Flygon and frailer than Altaria at same CP.

As for moves, if you go ahead with it then I would recommend the DB/Outrage combo. I use it a lot with Latias in Ultra League and it generates a lot of despair as finisher once the shields are gone.

OR is the best charge move, it deals tons of damage even hitting neutral. I have it on both of my Kingdras.

Kingdra is good in Great League and even better in Ultra league from what I've seen. One advantage for it I've found in Great league is that it's good against opponents who expect Altaria (or Flygon) and prepare ice-type coverage moves to deal with it without including a hard dragon counter like Azu. Same applies to Ultra to some extent I guess, Kingdra is especially strong against water types like Blastoise.
