Just a warning, slow down!

I know we are all excited to get battling, but I think there is a lot we need to learn before we spend all that dust and candy. I have been monkeying around with different pokemon and the performance isn't always what you might expect. Some moves take much longer to charge. Also, on TSR they are talking about charge moves and that 1 bar moves may not be ideal because of the shield. Pokemon like Kyogre lose a lot of effectiveness if you can simply shield the charge move. Also, I hope the costs of adding a move is lowered, but we will just have to wait and see with that.

Slow down? How the heck do you think all this new information is coming about? It's certainly not from people sitting back and waiting.

I say speed up. Experiment. Have fun. Figure out some advantages before it's documented ad nauseum on the site.

That's where you're wrong kiddo. Implying every pokemon trainer reads forums. In my community this is close to 5% only. Not worth the rush in my case.

If you have 10M dust, yes please.

If you're like me sitting on 400k dust - this is great advice. It'd be a huge waste for me to invest all 400k dust right now on what I thought would be good if I found out two weeks later that they're actually not.

Kyogre and Mewtwo both feel strong, but that doesn't mean they're actually stronger than the competition.

Sitting on 10.7 million dust and fine with waiting.

I'm not going to be spending any thing on PvP, mostly as my phone is actually unable to handle it.

1 bar moves will make great wrecking balls after you deplete your opponent's shields. I've read Groudon is slated to be an absolute last slot beast in Master League due to Mud Shot having an obscene energy gain.

To the guy yesterday asking about Mud Shot Poliwrath, you may want to give them a whirl.

I have yet to witness a Master League battle that allows the use of a third Pokemon before the time runs out. The beasts at the top have stats so monstruous that it only ever leads to one KO "and a half"

Really? I'd say those are taking about 3m versus 2-2.5 in the lower leagues

Seriously? Every Master League I've done has resulted in one party getting fully KO'ed.

So mudshots a good move? I wonder how that will affect flygon, its got the super spam able DC

side note, does garchomp had mudshot or mudslap? Because if its mudshot that things gonna wreck

I thought about that too. Might be another strategy to apply, a pokemon with multi bar moves first and then one with single bar moves to clean up.

I'll give this guy a try...

I've been testing Whiscash with Mud Shot / Mud Bomb for Great League and found this is a pretty good combo: Mud Shot charges up MB insanely fast, and since MB is 3-bar, it's spammable as hell.

So far, i dont wanna spend resources for 2nd CM, maybe later but not now. Too expensive for me
So i just evolve as close as possible to the CP cap, and give some dust
For master league i always use same Pokemon. For now it is more interesting for me tinkering with 1500 and 2500 CP league

I have spent more than 500k dust only on pokemon for the great league. That's 1/3 of my total dust reserves... And I'm not even close to feel ready for the bigger leagues... Yep, I'll better slow down!

I first spent 100k and 100 candies to give my Mewtwo the Punch, then gave my perfect gengar another move. Lugia will likely be next. Was smart of me to save that 1.6 million stardust over the last many months.
