Is it just me or is the current raid rotation garbage?

Poor tier 5, and aside from shinx/buizel (both tier 1) there's not anything else remotely interesting...

It’s an incredibly lame lineup and extremely disappointing start to Gen 4.... Personally I’m having a hard time even picking up the game it’s become so nerfed, seriously I just did a two man weather boosted Arggon and didn’t even go past my 5th Pokémon.... There has got to be a way for Niantic to cater to filthy casuals and rural crybabies with completely ruining anything even remotely challenging

I'm noticing way more electric types. Makes me wonder if they'll bring back Kyogre for winter weather boosts (to keep players active in the rainy months) or Niantic mistakenly thinks they'll help with Dialga or Palkia.

I'm pretty excited for the Eeveelutions tbh. Electabuzz also since I need more candies. But overall, it is lackluster, especially the tier 4 raids. Should've kept Ttar imo.

But the electric and steel theme bosses make me think that the next tier 5 could possibly be Dialga. Or they could throw us a curve ball and bring back Registeel or Zapdos.

T-Tar is stale and i personally won't even touch it. Even putting Empoleon or Prinplup in raids is a better idea.

Also it's supposed to concide with the release of meltan and to help you do some of the quests, but seriously there can be better steel or electric types than these.

It is boring by now, but at least it's actually still pretty good compared to the other tier 4s.

...Actually you're right. I'll take back my statement. Togetic should've stayed. Its run was far to short.

Agreed. Save for the challenge for soloing skarmory and jolteon it truly isn't worth it. I think i'm only doing a quest per day for a sinnoh stone since i got meltan.

The situation of this game and the extremely and insanely terrible niantic decisions cannot get any more worse than this.

I like that they finally put Skarmory in as a tier 3 since it's moderately challenging.

It's engaging gameplay to me. I've done hundreds of solos without being the least bit interested in the boss as a pokemon.

In my local community, people are definitely feeling the raid lull. Giratina is extremely underwhelming, and it's hard to even entice people to raid at EX-eligible gyms, since Deoxys is also hot garbage. Togetic was a pretty popular raid choice, but it seems that's been removed from the lineup. So at this point, a lot of people typically just do Shinx raids hoping for a shiny, and Buizel raids for the candy until they reach 50.

Here's hoping we get Palkia or Dialga next. If Niantic gives us Origin Form Giratina on the 20th, I can see my local raid scene going into hibernation for a month.

Scott - I have to disagree with you a bit. I am predicting (and actually hoping) for Giratina Origin Form next. Giratina Origin Form should be a fairly decent pokemon in terms of utility in the game. More importantly, the candies obtained from battling the altered form can be used on the origin form. So I have pursued battling the altered form for that reason. I will just have to wait and see if my hope pays off. Now or in the future.

Not with its current moves, and it pains me to say that since Giratina is my favorite legendary. Had it gotten Shadow Claw/Shadow Ball it would have been an amazing ghost type attacker with massive TDO to compensate for being a bit slower than Gengar and (unreleased) Darkrai. Since it got shafted with Shadow Sneak - the worst ghost type charge move in the game - it's just filler.

Free-ish player, spent total of $20 on pokecoins in 2018...152 Giratina candy earned and 20 more Giratina to throw away. I say it still has an afterglow relative to the Regis.
