Not really. It's just a sink of stardust. Ditto has no real use. It would be fun, if you had tons of stardust to give away.

With only 73k stardust... not now. But save it for when you have more stardust and you might want to later.

I would do it in second just for the fun factor... But with your dust count and Gen4 looming it wouldn't be the smartest move...

Agree with previous poster. With 73k dust, nope. This would be a relatively cheap way to clear a “power a Pokémon 5 times” research task though....if you really want to take it on up as a project.
