Increase in Wild Lapras?
I've encountered eight wild Lapras since July. I live in an area with frequent Swinub and Sneasel, so perhaps it qualifies as an ice biome. Still, it took me 218 days before I saw my first three wild Lapras. The last three, however, I've seen in the past 4 days! No change in location or play frequency.
Has anyone else, especially those in ice-friendly biomes, been seeing more Lapras since the Eggstravaganza event? Now that some time has passed since its max CP was adjusted (below that of Heracross and Pinsir), and it spent some time in 2k eggs during the event, I'm hoping that they've increased spawn rates.

I sympathize. I've seen zero wild Chansey (even during Valentines), Aerodactyl, Mareep, and Larvitar.
Do you happen to live in an area with ample Swinub and Sneasel?
[Tangent: I'm actually happy about the lack of Valentines Chansey in my area. Local gyms usually have 1-2 Blissey at most (unless its a spoofer tower). As a prestiger, I'd rather have and face zero Blissey than have and face tons of them.]
Nah, Swinub and Sneasel are both pretty rare here, so I only got my first Sneasel a week or two ago. Aside from the standard junk that shows up everywhere, it seems like plants are the most common where I live, then probably bugs after that, then water types.
Yeah, I caught one awful Chansey during the Valentine's event and one Mareep a couple weeks ago, then zero of the other two you mentioned. Still haven't evolved my first Dragonite yet either.
Blisseys are pretty uncommon on all sides around here as well, so like you said, at least the imbalance isn't enormous.
The first two were caught before today's nest migration, and the third was after. So I don't think it could have been nesting, but I'm still a little hopeful that there could be an across-the-board increase for everyone.
If no one else here has seen any increase (especially those in ice-friendly biomes), I'll probably just assume it was dumb luck.
