I'm Legit Suprised

That they didn't do something for glaceon and leafeon with this event. They teased the gen 4 starters a while back, and the event was eevee, it seems too good of an opportunity to release gen IV, or at least eevee's evolutions, but I guess they didnt want to do that.

They would have added them in the last update. So there is no chance now.

Yeah, I dont think they'd put out an update mid event

Stop reading so much into every little thing, It's a game designed and marketed to children. You might actually enjoy the game more if you stopped seeing some giant conspiracy in every random event and piece of art work.

I mean gen IV has 2 evolutions of eevee, and there were 2 days for the event, im not the only one who was thinking they were going to do something for this, heck even the gamepress guide about it listed glaceon and leafeon as more than likely inclusions for the event

A gen IV tease, followed by a 2 day eevee event, that else would be the likely conclusion?

It just would have made the event better. Also, The game is not designed for children. Children don’t have cell phones, are not very mobile, have short attention spans, and are not generally interested in historical landmarks etc.

I had also been hoping for a release of Glaceon and Leafeon for this weekend, but maybe that was more wishful thinking than anything. Had it been done, it would have made the event all the more exciting, but I'm not shocked that Niantic decided to hold off on those two.

Same here, I was thinking they'd do it because eevee's just such a commonplace pokemon, the other event pokemon have all been fairly rare, and this would inject a bit of intrest back into getting Eevee, seeing as most players already have at least one of each evolution
