How is your gyms team?

Nice selection. I like using a variety of pokemon types besides fighting. I often put two fighting mons for normal types, one generalist like Dragonite or Mewtwo, one electric mainly against Gyarados , one ice or fairy whatever can counter Dragon, and one steel to counter Gardevoir as somebody wants to stop Machamp from sweeping the gym.
I don't understand the point of decay. In high turnover areas it doesn't matter. The gyms don't last long enough to decay. In low turnover areas, it creates less turnover because you can come back later and fight weaker Mon. Any level 20 player can take down a gym at full strength with proper counters. There is no reason for CP decay. It just takes all the challenge out of gym fighting.
I don't fight gyms, I fill gyms of same colour of mine, which I find around my area very easily.
When I have to necessarily fight, I use random pokemons I catched just before the fight..... Even pidgeots are ok. Then I transfer them.
It's a revive-saving strategy. You'd better use revive for your raid-squad pokemons, not for trivial gym fights.
My current gym team. The mons are in no particular order.
1. Machamp, C/DP. She beats 3,2k Blisseys by herself. I don't really need another fighter in my team.
2. Mewtwo, C/P. Currently holding the flex slot. I recently fought a gym with three Poison types in it, so I swapped my B/SE Tyra out for this guy.
3. Dragonite, DT/O. He deals with the random stuff people throw at gyms.
4. Raikou, TS/WC. Gyarados in an enemy gym? Yummy.
5. Ho-Oh, SW/SB. He also beats 3,2k Blisseys by himself. If there are multiple big normal types in a gym, this guy takes down the Blissey and Champ handles the rest.
6. Arcanine, FF/FB. He's there to get his win count up. And the coolness/cuteness factor. And sometimes people actually put Grass types in gyms and I get to use him in battle. Yay!
