How will you manage your stardust when double stardust kicks in?
I always go on a crazy spending spree during events consisting of double stardust, since I thoroughly enjoy powering up Pokémon lol. I have had a horrible habit of managing my stardust in the past, but I've actually managed to save up over 400k stardust without any double stardust now, so I think I'll spoil myself a bit by going crazy again when double stardust is unlocked haha!
I will do my best not to go under 400k stardust, but I'm going to accumulate the required number of stardust for each power up for a particular Pokémon, power it up, and then rinse and repeat until it is fully maxed out, and then work on another Pokémon with the same method.
What will be your strategy? Are you going to collect and save as much stardust as possible, or are you going to go crazy like me? ;)

Awesome! I might also try to focus on the 100% Pokémon I have that I've been wanting to power up for a while, but didn't since all my stardust was invested solely into maxing out my legendaries for the past few months. If the next update kicks in during double stardust, I'll probably attempt to fully max out my lvl 39 Pokémon to lvl 40. Good luck!
I think that this time I won't spend everything. I just powered up my fourth Tyranitar to lvl 31,5 but now I feel like there is not much left to do for me.
I will power up my best Raikou to lvl 31,5 or a little higher depending on how good IVs I will have at the end. The real question will be if I decide to max out some mons currently sitting at lvl 35,5. My only maxed mons are two Dragonite for the moment. Candidates are a 98% Golem and a 98% Exeggutor. After that maybe power up my 93% Lugia a little bit. I will level up so the Dragonites will get some. If I get bored I will start powering my 100% Amoroso from 400 XP.
I'm at lvl 37 atm but will probably reach 38 during the event so those two Dragonite are at lvl 38,5. The investment is 40.000 or so. That will be the first investment after lvl up. Of course there could happen something highly unlikely like hatching a 96% plus Tyranitar that I would instantly max out. Or I could decide to power up a third Rhydon or Golem (unlikely too). We'll see.
I just spend it as I go. One thing that’s beneficial about being a free player is that I don’t have empty XP for the most part except for Lucky Egging only during Double XP events. Finally broke Level 37 and brought one of my Blisseys to 38.5.
Stopped my project of an Arcanine at Level 34 so I can little by little power up my other ones stuck at Level 37.5. Once those are 38.5 , I’ll continue back on my Arcanine til it’s maxed out as well.
I max out one Pokemon at a time and last level brought a Level 4 Blastoise all the way to 37.5. Going to do the same this Level for my 100% Pidgeot and Hitmonlee then I’ll see where I’m at and go from there for a new project.
I'll save it to see how much dust I have gathered on average during the double stardust part of the event. During the Equinox event I set a goal of 50K dust per day. I could do that again, but I don't want to "force" myself a goal this time around.
After that I'll see what I spend it on. I have quite a good amount of high lvl high IV strong hitters at lvl 35+, so I guess I'll just boost a couple of types (that are not completely bad but neither pressing on the meta right now, e.g. fire, ice, grass, electric) I lack.
