Hi guys, I need your input to help me prepare for my 1st ever Ex-raid this Sunday
Currently i only have 2 Lv30 T-rex one with crunch and one with stone edge
I have 565 trex candy but have problem assigning them
Which should i powerup/evolve
Lv20 trex iv 91% ads 13 14 14
Lv20 trex iv 91% ads 13 13 15
Lv20 larv iv 91% ads 15 11 15
Lv20 pupi iv 91% ads 15 12 14
Stardust & TMs no issue
Im going to max a kyogre anyway and my best kyogre is a 89% with 15atk, is it worth it?
Im from singapore and usually rain so does it make it into my team?
Kyogre is 4th best against M2 in the rain, behind just Tyranitar, Mew2 himself, and Scizor. He hops right over Houndoom when the rain starts.
Also of note: a team of Tyranitar isn't quite as hot if M2 has Focus Blast. In that case, you'll be glad for the likes of Scizor and Kyogre as well as Groudon and Pinsir (in the rain).
I'd Evolve the 15-12-14 Pupitar and then look at break points for you Tyranitars.
Biggest key I think is: try not to get into a huge lobby. The one I did Saturday, we had 60 people there, we separated into colors, then I broke off into a smaller group when the my color's lobby had 20. Against Hyper beam which was boosted, we had 8 beat it with 170 seconds remaining. Past Thursday did Conf/FB in cloudy conditions, we did two groups, my group had 12, we beat it in about 100 seconds. High level players here with maxed Tyranitars now take pride when they beat easier moves with 3 trainers, and they have 40 to 50 seconds left.
It was the weird, mistake EX raid on Feb 10th...people got passes that hadn't raided at that park in 4 or 5 months, some just spun and got an EX. On a normal Saturday the numbers have been considerable, but not likely that many.
I'm sure it is really competitive there controlling gyms...the 3 ball control bonus can help, but don't let that interfere with communicating with other EX raiders from all teams. Just joining a huge public lobby right at hatch can turn bad
