You know... there's a whole counter guide on this site...
Both legacy Gengar, SB Mewtwo, dark Tyranitar...
Basically...
3 level 40 players with maxed DPS beasts or 5-8 so so players still with optimal counters

But the raid page does not show up if you do a search for Cryselia; it is just too different from the real English name of Cresselia. Therefore here the link:

Since you haven't done one yet, I'd guess the trio may be a bit advanced for you, but check the guide that the others have mentioned for a list of counters.

Four/five trainers can take on Cresselia with little difficulty, providing each are using half-decent counters, i.e. not using the recommended line up that the game itself provides.

This site will give you a rough idea of how many trainers you need based on win times. It does not factor survival or relobby, however.

The only mon viable for a trio is Gengar with ShadowBall. You will need some with Lick or ShadowClaw to get ahead of the clock. If against future sight, success is unlikely.

With 4 trainers, several other mon become viable. There's a fun graphic on the cressida raid guide that sums it up.

He’s actually fairly easy. Raid Tyranitars and 4 players using level 30+ Ttars should be fine.

For Maximum DPS, SB Gengar and SB Mewtwo are great, although Gengar goes down frightfully fast to Future Sight. SB Mewtwo does great against it, though, resisting Psychic.

Barring those, any common Psychic counter is good. Dark, Ghost, even Bug can function. Ttar doesn't have great DPS, but is a tank against Future Sight. Metagross with Meteor Mash is terrific too. Try going in with a team of 6 or more competent trainers, and you should have little difficulty.

For the trio it is not always necessary with level 40 players. We are a team of three (ultra/best friends) who failed a couple of times in the beginning but after the weakest player introduced several Tyranitars following the CD weekend, we have been more successful, but not always at the first try so you have to stock up on revives and potions.

Player 1, Lv40: 9 Lv40 Gengars (relobbying always necessary), 1 Lv40 SB Mewtwo, if necessary Lv40 Tyranitars
Player 2, Lv39: 1 Lv35 Gengar (nonlegacy), 3 Lv40 SB Mewtwo, 1 Lv 37 Weavile, Lv40 Tyranitars
Player 3:, Lv32: 1 Lv33 Gengar, 4 Lv 34 Tyranitars, 1 Lv 34 Pinsir, followed by more pinsirs at Lv 30, and if necessary Lv 34 Moltres, Dragonite, or Metagross.

The double dark Weavile is really effective against the psychic moveset where the Gengars are rather frail.

I aggree with this, doing trio with similar team, the difference is player 2 is level 40, so bassically the same.
The level 32 trainer will use 1 or 2 gengar with tyranitar to back it up regedardless of Creselia movesets, it is the best squad he has.
But he is good, manage to have level 32-34 squad to counter.
It is up to the level 40 (me) to choose the best counter for Creselia charge move, whether to use Gengar squad first or Mewtwo Shadow Ball squad first. The Tyranitars gonna be a backup squad in most cases.

With 10+ player lobbies beating a cresselia is much easier than beating an Umbreon alone.
