Extrasensory v Confusion Exeggutor

I was looking at leagacy moves and noticed that I have a confusion solarbeam exeggutor. Anyone that has been fighting with one can suggest if its better than extrasensory solarbeam? Thanks

You need to use it to appreciate it.
Confusion on Exeggutor is a major damage dealer, one of the few god-mode legacy moves.

Let's see...

Dragon Claw on Dragonite, obviously.
body slam on Snorlex, obviously.
Rock throw, rock slide on Omastar
dazzling gleam on Alakazam
pound on Clefable
fury cutter on Pinsir

Maybe Shadow Claw Gengar is a damn ghost god too, without it it seems useless in every scenario

It's slower but it hits like a truck...12.5 DPS vs. 10.9 for Ex. It has a lower EPS than Ex, though. It's about even for attacking, but vastly superior in defending.

I'm very happy that most of my exeggutors have confusion, it's awesome on offense.

Very slow to use but you see the enemy HP bar sink so quickly.

In this raid metagame I'm not sure if it's worth using that much (it is unusable against all of the legendary birds and tyranitar), for gyms, solar beam kind of sucks in the final round as it will be overkill, but it will be awesome in the first round.

I have 2 of these guys and for the correct matchups (vaporeon, rhydon, donphan) they are very powerful.

Extrasensory = a slightly better zen headbutt.
