Yeah, we lost one in my town aswell. The tag was there until shortly before the first EX invitation wave came along, but since then, it‘s gone. But, it seems we gained a new EX-Gym, unfortunately it‘s a rather remote gym where we barely raid as far as I‘m concerned, but that doesn‘t matter as we have 5 other EX-Gyms.

Ex-raid tags disappearing?
Has anyone noticed ex-raid tags disappearing from gyms? We finally got a group together in my small town and started coordinating raids. After raiding this one ex gym a bunch of times, the tag disappeared. I'm annoyed because I thought that we might have a chance.
Has anyone else noticed former ex-gyms getting their tag removed?

Check it on a few different dates - there was a belief that after the Deoxys update, that the eligibility for EX Gyms was going to be rotating on a daily basis. So Gym A might beveligble Monday but not Tuesday, while Gym B was eligible Tuesday but not Monday. Or the gyms might be eligible on particular periods - say for a full 8 days, then not eligible for the next 8 days.
Not sure if these have been either proven or disproven. I know two of the gyms I've done EX raids at in the past didn't have the EX tag last time I was at the gym, but other trainers have claimed that the tags were still there on other days.
I can't imagine they'd change the eligibility on a day to day basis. I do think they modified the criteria a little bit as EX eligible gyms shuffled slightly around me.
Less related, how many non-sponsored gyms from the field test retained their EX eligible status? I noticed the gym I obtained my first Mewtwo at a year ago is not marked as EX eligible.
