Evolve Bagon 96% or not

Only reason would be having higher IVs, which I tend to lean toward, but if you want that 15 in attack, then it’s the 93 (15/11/15 is actually 91 btw)

Salamence is already packing a huge Attack. Where it needs a little bolstering is in Defense. It would not be a mistake to go with the 96%.

As an aside, I wasn't going to max out Salamence before I evolved it, but then I saw how rad it was, and I'm taking it all the way, too. Want a cool story? How about the little dragon who wanted to fly so badly he sprouted wings on the power of his desire alone. Now THAT's a being I want on my side.

If you're not a super hardcore player, I think 96% is more than enough of a threshold.

I would evolve and max it for novelty purposes. I've always liked any 96%+ competitive pokemon.

Max ATK and HP are more important that DEF so evolve the 93%

Are these egg hatches (level 20)? I would probably wait until the egg-event has run its course before blowing 124 bagon candy + the power up cost.

That being said, it looks like only a maxed, 15atk Salamence can reach the final Dragon Tail breakpoint when fighting Dragonite.

If you choose the 96% one to evolve, you've done something drastically wrong with your life, like choosing a Squirtle as your Starter, rooting for the New York Jets or believing that Bacon is a good substitute for moisturizer.

DON'T EVOLVE THE 96% ONE! Take the Nike slogan and turn it around 180 - Just Don't Do It!

(you didn't ask for GOOD reasons, just for ANY reasons. now, if you want GOOD reasons, the only good reason to go for the 93% is that Salamence is pretty much a pure attacker, so the higher the attack the better.)
