Dragonite vs Rayquaza

In which raid battles does Rayquaza become a necessity that dragonite would fail at?

Off the top of my head:
1. Windy weather Latios duo
2. Jolteon Solo with neutral damage
3. Alakazam Solo with neutral damage (anything around the 200 defense mark)

These two dragons have been through it all for me, but I still have yet to find a clear preference between the two. Rayquaza has the higher DPS, sure, but its fragility has cost me in some battles in which Dragonite might have survived another two or three hits, but I do realise that in some battles Dragonite wouldn't have sufficed as well.

I'll invent one: Tier 4 Flygon duo. Neutral weather, not friends, no dodge, double ground moveset. I think it would be enough of a benefit to use Rayquaza.

Lets put it like this: It is not worth all the RC's to have 6x or 12x Rayquaza. While most players already have 2-3 maxed Nites and Candy from CD to make some more if needed.

U say it yourself by constructing some szenarios that might never happen or are obsolete because u can just use super effectiv damage instead.

I have one and I'm not impressed by its performance. Dragonite all day

Dragonites can still duo Latios.

There isnt one atm but that aside yes it is a bit frail but the dps is so good your only handicapping yourself using Dknight in raids

Mainly what this topic reinforces is we are too concerned with 15a plus 96%+ IVs. The OP has an overload of maxed premier attackers, so being picky is warranted as the main thing left to really do.

What might not be warranted is doing 50 more Rayquaza raids or those that got a shiny Kyogre early but still did 40 more Kyogre raids to improve on their 2nd best Kyogre being 14a/14d/14...those differences really make no difference.
