Does it seem like motivation decay has slowed down?

All of the pokemon in the gyms around me are nearly full on motivation every time I check today. Yesterday and the day before I could see them draining quickly. Was the rate of motivation decay slowed down? Everyone here has stopped putting pokemon above 3000 CP in gyms, but I wonder if they slowed down that motivation decay also.

Edit: I just saw a couple of pokemon whose CP started at above 3000 in gyms. It seems like they are losing 1 CP every 15 seconds or so.

I believe so and Decay per kill has increased.

Certainly looks like it. 2 players finally added mons in my gym 6 hours ago and still have not lost any motivation.

The decay for 3000+ CP Pokemon can be a blessing in disguise since you don't get coins unless the Pokemon is KO'd from the gym. If a gym becomes easier over time and your Pokemon has stayed more than 9 hours then its return guarantees your coin max for the day.
