Does anyone notice raid boss Metagross is incredibly aggressive?
It's almost like they want to kill you, every time i tried catching them they just kept trying to bash your balls, I've even seldomly see them jump. They just attack your balls like crazy and if they double attack your balls they will.
I can catch them, none of them ran, but it is very troublesome because it's also impossibly hard to hit greats to them.

In the past several months have I made anything to the effect of "machamp sucks" or any other top tier mon are bad? No, they were all questions about how does X change affect, if at all, the placement of certain pokemon
I do not deny I made a heck of a lot of idiot posts prior, however that has since changed, and someone doesnt seem to have either noticed or accepted that has happened.
Giratina was always super agro for me, even nonboosted ones, catch rate was about 80-70%, only pokemon I had a worse rate on is ls latios (60%) and latias (33%) where I did 5 and 3 and all were boosted and wasnt practiced at throws. Giratina, at least for me, was almost nonstop attacking, just took a lot of patience to catch. haven't really had trouble with metagross.
I'm not sure if there's evidence in the game master but it's anecdotally known that Tyranitar is one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, even more so than legendaries (not by catch rate but by ball deflection rate)
Perhaps they extrapolated this to other Tier 4 pseudo raids. We've had dragonite raids but I haven't done one so can't comment on the aggresiveess of raid dragonite, but in my handful of encounters of wild dragonite, I don't find them to be particularly troublesome. Maybe it really just is a raid thing
I would always hear friends and fellow-raiders alike complain that "The boss double-attacked" so I wasn't able to hit it that time.
Really means you need to be throwing earlier into the attack animation. If you're seeing the catch circle as you throw it then you've thrown it too late and it's up to the raid boss if it's gonna decide to knock it away or let you hit it.
