Pretty sure it's legit. He's mentioned before that he lives in a place crawling (swimming?) with Magikarp. Probably just insanely lucky.

Thanks for paying attention Dan. You the man! I live in Hawaii and play along the cost in dense stop areas. I am insanely lucky however I believe the area is as well. Dusting the equinox event there were 12 shinies caught by local trainers. I know of a woman with 6. Many folks with one two or three, and a small handful with none.

Hey Mystic Boss, why not evolve them all? You must have plenty of candies...might end up with several legacy shiny garies some day.

Considering it. I have about 4500 candies. I would want to take then all around 3k. Don't have the dust. I've only evolved the impressive/strongs. Most are under 50%. One is just over 50. No wonder/amazing/battles with bests.

You were lucky for shiny, at least I think I'm lucky enough about Magikarps with their IV's

I've got a single 100 and two 97s. I don't check the low karps tho.

I just caught a level 5; 55-60%. Now a shiny Raichu. I already have a 1935cp shiny Gyarados about 50%

Mine's around 67-69%, lvl 8. Not worth leveling up, but good for gym show-off. Still trying to find a golden karp though.

You know we don't, teammate. I have 3, all maxed out Gyarados, and consider myself lucky for that.

Have you asked this question on Reddit, which has much larger PoGo communities (TSR, etc)?

I only lurk on the TSR subreddit, the community is frankly too big for me... I like it better here, obviously. But you might get your question answered - I'd like to know as well.
