No, but I'm not going to evolve a second even though I have since caught one with higher IVs at about the same level.

I don't mind it much these days. Mine has been a lifesaver in times of a hurry when fighting for control of a gym with a third wheel team and there are only a few seconds left to go before a raid starts. My phone is very slow so scrolling down to select any Blissey is unviable when another player from another team leeches on to the last gym battle and might take it for their team within a small time frame.

Never evolved one.

I hated having mine at the top of my list, too. So I unfavorited it and now use Favorites as my default sort.

Hell no, I use him to slot into gyms if there are spaces.

I hate seeing him up there too. I took his star off and I usually keep it set by favorites.

I don't mind seeing him up there, but I wish they would buff his quick move just a little bit, so he'd be somewhat useful.

maybe there will be a community day where he learns the special fast move "struggle".

I never spent resources on one other than to evolve it...so no, I don't have that problem

Weatherboosted Slakoth can evolve to 4k+ cp without any other resources spent.

Yes it can...this is nothing I didn't already know.
In my case I hatched a far better IV one than any of the weather boosted I have managed to catch.
Of course had I managed to get a boosted 90%+ then maybe I would have the same issue as others, but my own personal experience didn't go that way.

Slaking is one of the top 6 defenders, so of course not.

People in my city are more likely to attack a gym that has a Slaking because it rewards a lot of badge points per second. A dream gym for attacking into is basically all high CP stuff weak to Machamp like Slaking, Tyranitar, Rhydon, Aggron.

that depends. I can see it having a purpose in a short time window, like just before a raid while you are going to berry feed. Other than that, it's not any better than a 2,400 CP Ursaring or some other nearly junk mon.

I hate looking at it, but my solution will be to evolve two more Slakings so I can scroll down one line to hide them from view when sorting by CP.

No, but I star all my favorite attackers and defenders and default sort by Favorite. So I never see Slaking because I never sort by CP.

Why would i hate to see these hunks all the time?

They have slowly raised in ranks among my favorite defenders.

1) Blissey, when I want to defend with berries.
2) Slaking, holding a Exraid-eligible gym just to look for raids.
3) Gardevoir, support teammates in a Bli-slak-sey-lax gym.
4) Slaking, put in when the bus passes a gym.
5) Slaking, put into the gym to help opposing teams getting more gym points.

Slakings big advantage is being easy available at the top of a cp-sorted dex. It is a decent Machamp defender (if above 4000 cp, fully motivated and having play rough). I have three maxed out.

Interesting, it's the exact opposite for me. Originally thought it was ok as a defender and my opinion of it has gone down to the point where I would never put one into a gym. Last use mine got was as an attacker in a challenge solo.

Not sure if this is common knowledge but you actually are not in a that much of a hurry to choose the pokemon when passing by a gym. You can be further away than the gym interaction range and the defender will still go there as long as you opened the pokemon storage view while you were still close. You can't hold it open too long because there's a maximum distance after which you will get an error, but there's definitely enough time to scroll down to Blisseys for example.

I think it’s perfect being at the top of the list to drop in gyms when driving by. My Blissey are towards the bottom with all my mons so he is a good defender just to drop when driving by and making the gym look like there are a lot of defenders. All mine are above 4000CP and those were all caught weather boosted.

Why don't you guys simply name your best defenders with symbols at the beginning of the name to sort alphabetically. (Note: this is only for the mons that you want to use as defenders).

I use "!!!Blissey", followed by "!!!Chansey", followed by "!!!Snorlax".
Then "!!.Milotic", "!!.Slaking", "!!:Dragonite", "!!:Steelix", "!!?Lapras", "!.Gardevour", "!:Clefable", "!:Exeggutor", ""!:Venusaur", "!?Vaporeon" follows by "!" before the name of whatever shiny you want to dump into gyms.

Set the pokemon view to "Name A-Z" and then you are all set for you "drive by drop in" defenders.

No, but I am seriously considering transferring my Aggron so that it can't get wrongly suggested for raids and battles. Every. Damn. Time.

There should be a "Hide This For Now" flag.
