Damage formula?

I'm trying to get a clear cut "definition"

Damage = Floor ((1/2)(movepower)(att/def)(STAB)(Effectiveness)) + 1
^correct?

Floor = round down +1
1/2
Movepower = Hyperbeam = 150
Att = (Base Attack + Attack iv) (cpm)
Def = (Base Defense + Defense iv) (cpm)
STAB = 1.25
Effectiveness = 0.64, 0.8, 1, 1.25, 1.56

What is cpm? how is it figured? And specific

"There's no exact formula for calculating CpM, so it requires looking up the CpM table instead."

The CpM table itself...

Is that formula right though? And the defense is the defenders stats, right?

The formula is correct...and yes, it is the defenders stats.

Yes the formula is correct. "Def" is the defender's base defence + defence IV, then multiplied by CPM.

CPM in layman's terms is how much of your base stats your Pokemon uses. Power your Pokemon up and it uses more of it. For example at level 14 CPM is almost 0.5 so a Pokemon's stats when making combat calculations is half it's base stats while at level 40 it's almost 0.8 or 80% of it's base stats.

So a Pokémon never achieves its full stats? Or maybe when it reaches level 60, 80, 100 if level cap is ever increased in the future?

I know, thought that was crazy when i read the cpm... since there is no formula for cpm, who knows what level reaches full stats

It means we have room to go beyond lvl40...but saying that, just as at no point does CpM reach 1 yet, there is nothing stopping it going beyond 1 either - basically there doesn't need to be a 'max'.
