Confirming MewTwo's Catch Rate

Yesterday I had to throw 11 grb curved excellents a row to catch mewtwo. Before I could pinap untill 5 balls remaining and use 1 grb to catch it.

Anecdotally speaking, many people I raided with over the weekend have had records around 0/3 on catching it since mass release. In game, feeding it a GRB doesn't seem to affect the catch circle color anymore where before it would become noticeably lighter. TSR doesn't have a confirmed value, but is reporting it to be lower.

My guess is it's been lowered to either 2% like most legendaries or 3% like the bird trio. Personally I still have yet to have one flee on me but I know many people have had perfect catch streaks broken pretty horrendously.

Though I can‘t really confirm it, it is pretty much confirmed for me. Back in the EX Raid days, when you Golden Razz‘d Mewtwo, the circle would become orangeish. Now, it stays red with Golden Razz, which is at least for me a confirmation that the catch rate has been lowered.

Can't confirm with the catch rate change but In my experience, it is harder now.
Never have to use all the ball in EX Raid Mewtwo ussualy 3-4 ball, but use more than 10 ball in most of around 25 regular T5 Mewtwo that i raid so far.
Failed to catch it in 2-3 ocassion.

My personal feeling is that it's lower.

Not certain about the catch rate either, but I did 3 Mewtwo raids on community day, and all of them were super easy catches with curveball nice/great throws and a GRB. No more than 3 or 4 balls to catch.

My boyfriend was with me on all 3 raids and was able to catch them all 3 times without much difficulty as well.

So far I’ve only missed one. I missed a second but it was because I errored out and was kicked from the gym. I’ve caught two with pinap berries, so it seems relatively easy to catch

I've done two.

One I caught on the first throw with a golden razz and a small great circle.

Second I caught on my last ball out of 16 (I think?) all golden razz, two misses, a few hits outside the circle, But mostly great and excellent throws.

Either of those two could be outliers, but enough people have been claiming a lower catch rate that I believe it.

It is much lower. Today i failed to catch after 16 GRB Excellent in a row. Frustrate me enough. Im 4/6 with catching, and once i needed to use my last ball.

I've caught a few on regular pinaps since the event began.
I am also on 15/16
